The university operating model no longer works: How are we rebuilding for a new era?

13 Nov 2026
Main Room
Strategy & Leadership Operations & Service Delivery

The need to rethink how universities operate has never been more urgent. For many institutions, they represent a structural challenge to how universities operate and deliver value in the long-term. As traditional models come under strain, leaders are being forced to confront difficult questions around institutional design, workforce capacity, digital transformation, collaboration and financial sustainability. This keynote panel will examine what the next university operating model could, and perhaps should, look like. This panel will explore what leadership looks like during sustained uncertainty: how do we redesign institutions for survival and relevance?
