Mark is responsible for the financial stewardship of the University of Aberdeen, including financial strategy and strategic development of all income and expenditure, and ensuring that the systems of accounting and internal control are effective and in accordance with legislative and policy requirements. Mark has led both the internal efficiency programme at the University and the opening of the branch campus in Mumbai, India.

Previous roles include Director of Finance at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Mark was also a Director in PwC, providing audit and consultancy services across a range of private, public and charitable organisations.
